Squidoo - If You Build it, Cash Will Come

One of my all time favorite ways to make some extra money online by far is Squidoo. It's easy, fun, and allows you to show the world what you're all about.

The way Squidoo works is this: You pick a "lens" (another word for web page) topic, name it, then start building it. You add what are called 'modules' and create your very own space in cyberspace. You pick whatever your heart desires and make the topic your own. Here's an example of one I built: Morrie Schwartz

There are a few ways you can make money. One way is by adding modules (ie. Amazon or Ebay modules) that make money for you whenever someone clicks on a link then buys someone. The other way is everyone shares Google Adsense ads revenue. The more quality Lenses and more traffic you have, the bigger piece of the pie you get.

Of as with most of the stuff online, you have to do the footwork to get your Lens exposed. From picking good tags, to spreading the word about your lens. If you get a popular lens or two you will start seeing the money come in. You can also, if your heart so desires, donate the money you make to certain charities you choose through Squidoo.

I can't stress enough that this is by far one of the ways you should be making money online. Sign up, start buidling, and enjoy!

Triond Review - Get Published. Get Paid.

If you like to write then you should try Triond.com. Whether its poetry, short stories, reviews of movies, rants and raves, top 10 lists, 'how to' articles, advice, or whatever you want to write about, Triond has a space online for you. You can also upload pictures, audio, and videos.

The way Triond works is this: you submit content, they review it, and if it's written well enough they publish it on-line for you. Then it's your turn to start promotting it everywhere you can. When people view your article you get paid. The more people, the more money you make.

Now Triond has introduced two more ways to get paid with the integration of Adsense and a referal service. The referal service pays you 10% of whatever your direct referals make. Triond has now made their site even more valuable and profitable than ever.

I have been using Triond for about a year now and am very happy with their service. They pay out the 15th of every month and have no minumum. So if you make 15 cents you get paid 15 cents. If you've made $25 you get paid $25. Let me just add that I have been paid every time.

I also love the layout of the different pages your articles get published too. Very clean and professional looking.

So the bottom line is this, you might as well get paid for the things you are already doing online.

Get Writing. Get Published. Get Views. Get Paid

The sites listed below are for those of you who like to write. Whether its reviews, stories, poems, sports stories, blogging, summaries, first person accounts, or whatever else you want to write about. You can do it here and get paid.

Shooving

Fairly new this site is all about short reviews. And I mean short. Try under 900 words. The site says that the average reader reads 200 words per minute and that is the reason for the short reviews. They take reviews or summaries on books, movies, websites, academic topics, artcile, or newspapers. Shvoong pays 10% of its advertising revenues to the writers and how much you get is all based on the number of views your article gets. You can get paid by PayPal or by check.

Associated Content

Join Associated Content

This is one of the big players on the scene. You cant write about pretty much anything under the sun and get paid. You can write what you want to write about or you can write about something on their Assignment Desk. The Assignment Desk gives you ideas about what to write about.

The other nice thing about Associated Content is that they make upfront payments as well as pay per view payments. That is you can write something totally original and get an upfront payment along with pay per view payments. Or if you have written something somewhere else online, you can submit that and get pay per view payments only.

Associated content is the slowest of all the sites I use at approving content. This is because they do an extensive search of the internet to make sure you are not simply copying work. The great thing about this is that you can rest assured that no one will be stealing your work and making money off of it on Associated Content. It takes anywhere from 5 - 8 days on average to get written documents approved for publishing.

You can also upload audio, video, and pictures and get pay per views. I highly recommend Associated Content.

Triond

This was the first of the sites that I joined. Here you can add pictures, written content, audio, and videos. The highlights of Triond are the websites it publishes your content to and the community of people there.

First off the websites that Triond publishes to all look perfessional and inviting to people who visit there. There are plenty of different sites for any topic you write about.

Second the users there are very supportive yet honest. They have a forum you can post to and people tend to leave you comments or "likes" on your work. Great for getting feedback.

Triond also is pretty quick at publishing your content. They also search the web to make sure what you say is your is yours. One of the differences between Triond and Associated Content is that Triond only allows original content. It also only pays on a pay per view basis. No upfront payments.

They do make it easy to spread the word of your content with a handy tool that will allow you to bookmark it to various sites including Digg and Stumble Upon. They also have some great features on their online editor that includes picture suggestions and tag suggestions.

Triond is also highly recommended.

Bukisa

Bukisa usually has the highest pay per view rate of the sites I'm going to review here. And you can also write about pretty much anything you want to write about. They instantly publish whatever you write. Here is one of their problems. They don't check to internet so someone may be copying your stuff elsewhere and making money off of it at Bukisa.

Buiksa design is straight to the point. Again as with any site the amount of views you get usually depends on how much leg work you do.

Sites That Reward You For Shopping

If you do a lot of shopping online you will want to take a look at the sites below. Some will give you a certain cashback or rebate amount back for clicking on links through thier webites. And were not talking just mom and pop places either. Big names are in there such as Best Buy, Old Navy, Sears, Macy's and many more. So take a look at the ones I review below and choose one or two or three for yourself.

MYPOINTS

More than just a shopping portal MyPoints gives you points instead of cash. You can then turn those points into free gift cards for big retail chains such as Target or Borders. But you can also accrue points through a variety of other methods. One such method is recieving and clicking on emails you recieve (just open a free email account specifically to do this). You'll normally get 5 points for each click through. Then if you complete and offer or sign up for a service you get more points. You can also complete surveys to get more points. The opportunities are endless. A great site with lots of ways to get those points. I have been a member since 1999 and have recieved all items requested.

EBATES - Join Now and Get $5 deposited into your account right now!

This website gives you a percentage back of the total you spend at a website. Simply join, search for the store you want to buy something at, click on the link in ebates, and buy something at the store you searched for. That's it. Ebates tracks the amount of what you purchased and gives you cash back on the total. The amount you can get back depends on the store but I'd say you'll average around 5%. They pay by check or paypal. I have been a member of Ebates since 1999 and have recieved all the cash payouts I have requested. I absolutely love this site.

CASHBAQ - Also offering $5 for new members

I just recently joined this site so I can't give a review on the performance of the site other than to say that they gave me $5 for signing up. The reviews of the site I read online were all positive though. This site works in exactly the same way as Ebates and actually offers a higher % back than Ebates on some stores.

MEMOLINK

A MyPoints clone that I just recently joined. You get points for things you do on thier site, shopping and in emails then can turn those points into giftcards. They seem to have plenty of opportunities to get points especially if your willing to take surveys or shop.

www.memolink.com

BIGCRUMBS

This is another rebate site that gives a percentage back. The cool part of this site is that you can sign up as a crumb saver or crumb earner. Crumb savers earn cashback on what they buy and what the people they refer buy. Crumb earners also earn cash back on what they buy at stores (less a % back than savers) and on what the people they refer buy, but they also earn on their referrals referrals so the potential to earn more is greater.
